A Typical Flower Arranging Course Day in Hereford
Each flower arranging course is designed to be fun and full of great practical advice.
We assume everyone is a novice and move slowly through the day so everyone enjoys the experience.
Debbie has been running these classes for many years and ensures that no matter what your level of skill, you will always leave knowing more!
The Morning
We meet at 10am and start the day with Tea and Coffee and a friendly introduction.
There is plenty of space at each workbench, and all flowers and tools are provided.
Debbie begins the flower arranging course by sharing ideas and practical demonstrations.
Debbie begins every demonstration with the process of preparing each individual flower stem, before carefully moving through each stage of the design process.
We are always careful to ensure everyone understands each step of the way.
Debbie and her friendly, helpful assistants then circulate among the class while everyone has a go.
Never worry about getting stuck, there is always a helping hand nearby!
Lunch
Enjoy a lovely two course meal and wine from the ancient estate vines that have been producing since Elizabeth 1st sat upon the throne!
During summer, we often sit outside in the lovely rose garden.
Then back into the lovely, light filled demonstration room to complete your flower arranging course.
The Afternoon
The afternoon of a typical flower arranging course is filled with more demonstrations and practical work.
There is always a satisfied glow hovering above the room at the end of the day!
And when we are done there is no need to clear up…. we take care of everything!
We usually aim to finish at 3.30pm.
